Entity (or Table)
- An entity represents a real-world object.
- In a database, each entity is a table.
Example entities:
Professors
Students
Classes
Projects
Attributes (or Columns)
- An attribute is a property of an entity (a column in the table).
- Each row (record) in the table has values for these attributes.
Example (Students table):
